The drinks people mix up

Two drinks side by side: how much coffee, milk and foam each one has, and which to order.

Flat white vs latte: A flat white is smaller and stronger-tasting than a latte.
Latte vs cappuccino: A cappuccino has less milk and much more foam than a latte.
Cappuccino vs flat white: Both are small and coffee-forward, but they are opposites in texture.
Cortado vs flat white: A cortado is a double shot cut with about the same amount of warm milk and almost no foam, around 120 ml in all.
Macchiato vs cortado: A macchiato is an espresso "stained" with a spoonful of foam: almost all coffee.
Macchiato vs latte: A traditional macchiato is an espresso with a spoonful of milk foam, tiny and strong.
Americano vs long black: Both are espresso and hot water; the difference is the order.
Ristretto vs espresso: A ristretto is a "restricted" espresso: the same coffee, stopped early so it is about half the volume.
Cold brew vs iced americano: Cold brew is coffee steeped in cold water for 12 to 24 hours, never heated; it is smooth, sweet and low in acidity.
Mocha vs latte: A mocha is a latte with chocolate: espresso, chocolate sauce and steamed milk, often finished with whipped cream or cocoa.
Dirty chai vs chai latte: A dirty chai is a chai latte with a shot of espresso added.
Piccolo vs cortado: Both are small milk coffees in a little glass.
